The 2 euro EU handling fee has no value floor: who ends up paying it on a DAP order? The DAP bill is not my part. The warehouse is. Stock held in a customs warehouse and released per order gets its own handling fee from 1 July 2028, amount not set yet. Nobody can tell you warehousing beats parcels on this until it is.

Product identifiers go mandatory on 1 November and they ride on the H1: what goes on a warehouse release?Femi, the collision was mine, drawn in the wrong place. Your bay indicator: unloading sees the labelled parcels, the tally sheet counts pieces. Seen and thrown away, same hole as the order date. Marcus, the two fields go on the release...

Q&A: Carbon Border Adjustment Mechanism (CBAM)A bonded lot leaves my floor in parts, months apart, each part entered for free circulation by whoever bought it. The tonnage counts against his year, not my lot. Who sees he has crossed the threshold before I release the next part?

More than 30 chemicals join the export notification list on 1 October: who files, us or the customer?Wrong assumption. Exporter there means whoever holds the contract with the consignee and can decide the goods leave, not the name in the box. The box stops the truck. We get asked for the reference number at seven, and without it the drum...

The depot turned the empty away and detention kept running: what does anyone put in the file?Right that nobody signs. We do not. But the refusal is a timestamped line in our gate log with a reason on it, and that gets handed over when somebody asks for it in writing that same day. Nobody ever asks on the day.

Marketplaces started holding a packaging registration number on 12 August: who signs for a seller with no EU branch?Sellers ask my floor to be their representative every month. Answer is no, and it could not be yes: that person has to sit in Germany and be independent of you. We hold goods and check you registered. Your entry stays yours.

Norway wants the notice in before the barrier: who tells the driver the two halves were linked?Dispatch is one gate late. The goods half hangs on a declaration reference that does not exist until the declarant has filed, so we hold the release until that number is on the papers. Loaded without it, the truck is already wrong.

The new Union Customs Code makes importer and exporter turn on who decided: what proves that in an audit? Not new, only extended: the exporter half has turned on who had the power to decide for years. The email is closer than the contract. On my floor nothing leaves without a release instruction, and whoever sent it decided.

Centralised clearance will not take a warehousing declaration from an indirect representative: who is the declarant? Not asked: we already do it for part of the floor. The keeper stands as declarant and carries the procedure and the debt. Owners who will not fund the guarantee stay outside.
