Iran's ports are blockaded, so the trade went to the road. Last week at Gurbulak: twelve hundred trucks where two hundred is normal, twelve to twenty five days to clear into Iran. A driver there says he earns half what he used to.
My reading: the tractor and the driver pay for a closed sea lane, the rate pays last or never. Standing time is on no invoice I have seen. Show me a quote there that prices a twelve day wait and I drop it.
